  1. Medical Insurance

According to Article 21 of the “Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan” issued by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of China: “When international students register, new students should provide proof of medical and injury insurance from abroad that is valid for at least four months from the date of entry. Current students should provide documentation of National Health Insurance (NHI) or other relevant insurance in Taiwan. The aforementioned foreign insurance proof should be authenticated by Taiwan’s overseas missions.”

※ Students who have studied Chinese in Taiwan for four months and wish to continue studying for more than three months can apply for a “Residence Visa”. Students who hold a residence visa for four months should enroll in the “National Health Insurance” at the local district (township, town, or city) office with their “Alien Residence Certificate”.

Failure to comply with the insurance regulation will result in a fine of 3,000 to 15,000 NTD, and retroactive insurance registration from the date of eligibility will be required.

  1. Student Group Accident Insurance

All foreign students of the Chinese language class in our center must have group accident insurance. The insurance fee is 950 NTD per person per term.

※ Students who have already enrolled in the National Health Insurance are not required to compulsorily join the group accident insurance.
