ARC Application
以研習中文為目的來臺的學生於同一華語中心研習中文滿4個月，並繼續註冊3 個月以上，可申請轉換以研習中文為目的的居留證。
Students who have entered Taiwan with the purpose of studying Chinese, and have enrolled for 2 terms and have completed four-month of study at HKCLC, are eligible to apply for the Alien Residence Card (ARC). To qualify, students must register for an additional term of at least three months, continuing with the stated purpose of Chinese language study.

1. 護照 Passport
2. 在學暨出席紀錄 Certificate of Enrollment and Attendance Record
3. 彩色證件照 Recent Color ID Photo
4. 現居住地證明(租賃契約) Proof of Current Residence (e.g. Rental Contract)
5. 健康檢查合格證明 Health Check Certificate
6. 證件費用Application Fee：NTD 3,200

到外國人健檢指定醫院做健康檢查。 Undergo a Health Check at a Designated Hospital ◆檢查結果大約需要10-14天才可領取。 Health check reports usually take 10–14 working days to be issued. ◆醫院提供健康檢查表，請跟院方說明申請居留證用。 Please inform the hospital that the health check is for the ARC application. ◆請先聯繫醫院，確定健康檢查的時間，再前往。部分醫院需事先預約。 Some hospitals may require advance booking—please contact the hospital in advance to confirm availability and appointment procedures. |

到華語文中心預繳下一學期的學費， 並申請在學暨出席紀錄。 Prepay the next semester’s tuition at HKCLC. Request the certificate of enrollment and attendance record. |

準備好所有申請所需文件，建議最慢於停留期限 到期前14個工作天在移民署網站 Have all the required documents ready and apply for ARC online. It is strongly recommended to apply at least 14 working days before your current visa expires. ◆第一次申請者，請先註冊帳號。 First-time applicants must register an account on the Immigration Agency website. ◆操作說明請參閱移民署網站。 Please refer to the NIA website for application instructions. ◆停留期限屆滿之前無法取得居留證者，請依期限離境，並重新辦理簽證入境。停留逾期者須依規定繳納罰鍰。 Students who are unable to obtain the ARC before one’s stay expires must leave Taiwan and apply for a new visa to re-enter. Staying beyond the permitted period will result in a fine. ◆外國人逾期停留或居留者，其處罰標準如下： –逾期１０日以下者，處新臺幣1萬元罰鍰。 –逾期１１日以上，３０日以下者，處新臺幣2萬元罰鍰。 –逾期３１日以上，６０日以下者，處新臺幣3萬元罰鍰。 –逾期６１日以上，９０日以下者，處新臺幣4萬元罰鍰。 –逾期９１日以上者，處新臺幣5萬元罰鍰。 Overstay Penalties: 1–10 days: NTD 10,000 11–30 days: NTD 20,000 31–60 days: NTD 30,000 61–90 days: NTD 40,000 Over 91 days: NTD 50,000 |

移民署審查核可以後，請於5個工作日以內繳納證件費用。 After approval, pay the ARC application fee within 5 working days. |

收到「電子居留證及收據電子檔」的下載通知以後，可登入網站，於「下載專區」下載電子居留證及電子收據檔案。 Once approved, the applicant will receive a notification to download the Electronic ARC and Receipt from the system. |

🔔 備註 / Notes：
◆建議於停留期限到期前30天開始申辦居留證，如作業時間不足，須自行負責。
It is recommended to begin the ARC application process 30 days before the current stay expires to avoid complications. Please note that if there is insufficient time to complete the process, the student will be solely responsible for any resulting consequences.
◆出缺席狀況會影響是否能順利換發居留證。
The attendance may affect one’s eligibility for ARC renewal.
