ICYMI | Tamaraws land at HKU for first International Work Immersion
Taking off from Morayta to Taichung, G12 Tamaraw delegates attended the welcoming ceremony for FEU High School’s (FEU HS) International Work Immersion Program last July 24, at HungKuang University (HKU), Taiwan.
Opening the two-part welcoming ceremony, HKU Dean of International Affairs Office Tiger Tien started with the introduction of HKU’s Faculty followed by an opening message.
FEU HS STEM Coordinator, Mr. Bryan Cabueñas, also gave a speech expressing his gratitude and wishing for more international partnerships with HKU. A ‘Sarimanok’ emblem was given to Dean Tien, concluding the morning session of the event.
In the afternoon, the Tamaraws presented a ‘Lapay Bantigue’ cultural performance, followed by the orientation and primer proper for the one-week international work immersion camp.
Students and faculty then participated in games and leisure activities before formally closing the program.
The International Work Immersion Program is a project by FEU HS in partnership with HKU to immerse students in advanced learning of different areas in science and technology. The program will be conducted from July 23 and will end on July 29.
