【Chinese Teaching Assistants – Introduction】

What is Chinese Teaching Assistant?

Chinese Teaching Assistant is a group of enthusiastic and creative students from different departments. They provide learning and life guidance for international and foreign students at our school, including reviewing texts, reading sentences aloud, practicing questions for the Chinese language proficiency test, and accompanying international students on public transportation, locating ATMs on campus, and finding on-campus or off-campus medical clinics and emergency rooms.

Additionally, we have established the “Chinese Learning Circle,” which offers international students cultural activities to learn about Taiwanese culture and provides diverse support every 2nd and 4th week of the month. These activities are designed and led by the Chinese Teaching Assistants, covering themes such as introducing the Hungkuang campus, Taiwanese snacks, children’s songs, and more.

Our center regularly organizes various cultural experience activities. With the participation of Chinese learning partners, international students can explore different aspects of Taiwanese culture and receive help adapting to their new life in Taiwan.
